Worked with Kath and Hannah to get Kaplan Kind Company certification moving in the right direction
Visited a dear friend who is going through a period of loss
Collected rubbish I saw whilst on a hike
Bought food for someone in need.
Paid forward for a coffee when a colleague paid for my coffee.
I noticed my neighbor’s dog had escaped while the owners were away. I chased her around the block and managed to catch and comfort her until her owners returned.
Donated to a GoFundMe for a Filipino family who needs support to pay hospital bills and the repatriation of their father’s remains who died of stroke while visiting Australia. This hits close to home because my father also passed away in March.
Helping a friend who is grieving by checking in regularly.
Pick up an elder on the street and drive him home. He look lost, short-breath, and his phone went low bright so he was unable to call for help.
On the way to the parking of the shopping centre today, it started to rain and it was very windy. My husband was pushing our trolley and I had milk teas in my hands. However, when I saw a lady with a child, baby in a pram and a trolley full of stuff, struggling to manage all 3 in the rain and wind, I offered to help. The lady accepted so I pushed their trolley for her and we all safely crossed the street.
I bought my sister a bunch of flowers on the weekend to say “thank you” for everything that she does
Every year on my birthday, I send money to my parents so they can prepare meals and feed those in need.
Helped my neighbour who was grieving with the loss of his father.
At the supermarket, an elderly man asked me to check a box of muesli. He had forgotten his glasses and worried it might contain peanuts, which he was allergic to. I read the label for him, confirmed it did, and helped him find a safe alternative.
Bought a box of chocolates for all the staff at the train station where I travel from every day. They work hard with very little thanks
bought 4 bouquet of flowers and gave it to elderly women i met saying they look beautiful. The smiles i saw that day was worth everything.
