  1. I stayed with my sister all night last week when she was taken to hospital in an ambulance for a drug reaction

  2. Helped my daughter by caring for my grandchildren who were feeling sick and helped them feel better.

  3. My sister isn’t well and is feeling a bit useless, so I visited and asked her to do a simple task for me that I couldn’t do. This gave us time together to chat and helped her to feel useful. She felt better when I left.

  4. I filled in for 2 half days with the PSS so another volunteer could attend a session that came up at the last minute that she had to teach

  5. A staff member asked pharmacy for a JP. We didn’t have anyone that was. Usually that is where the conversation ends. My dispense tech knew someone at the public hospital across the road. She personally messaged them to see if they were working that day, set up a time during their lunch break, then advised the staff member. The staff member was so appreciative the tech went out of her way to organise someone.

  6. I have been visiting my Dad while he is in hospital with pneumonia and helping him choose his meals each day.
