I found a lost dog wandering the streets in my suburb and took the time to ensure he was safe and returned home. The owner was unaware that the dog had gotten out and was incredibly relieved and grateful to have him back. It felt good to help reunite a beloved pet with their family.

I volunteered at my son's school Gala Day, a fundraising event dedicated to supporting school programs and activities. I contributed by baking and donating cakes for sale and also offered my time to work on the Bargain Bazaar Stall. It was a rewarding experience to support the school community, collaborate with fellow parents, and help raise funds for a meaningful cause.

Went for a run with some people in the local running group last Sunday. During the run, one of the members mentioned that he will be flying in late to the Gold Coast Marathon, as his ex-wife now wanted him to drop off their child at her place at a later time than anticipated. Offered to collect his race bib for him and give it to him at the hotel prior to the race.

On June 22nd my kids school organised a World Music day event to raise money for the P&C Band. I volounteered 5 hours of my time to help setup and pack down the event. All three of my kids played or are still playing in the school band and wanted to say thank you to the wonderful community of volunteers that give my kids the opportunity to be part of a team/band that I wouldn't be able to do for them. Just a small way to say thank you.

I volunteer to help my daughter's soccer team. I am the manager setting up the team and making sure all practices and games happen. I am doing this to make sure the teenage girls have a chance to play a sport all year long and they have a place to gather for a connection with friends while doing sport activities.

One of the team members arrived late to the Scientific affairs mid-year Retro (direction was to be on time) and appeared to be out of breath, as has been rushing to get to the meeting. I provided him with water and ensured the person was comfortable and settled in the room before we continued.

The New Zealand team got together to support Jammies in June organising 20 pairs of Pyjamas for the Middlemore hospital foundation which in turn gift the pyjamas to children in need over winter and at risk of respiratory illness due to living in cold and damp conditions. A small act which can fundamentally change the lives of others in such an impactful way.

During conference in the hospital team meeting room, there was an issue with the projector not working properly. With Rosanna's help, I sorted out the cables, which then sorted out the issue and allowed Waleed to present for the session.

Working together is one thing but Cecilia and I have been deliberate in our catch ups as long time friends, connecting on a personal level and making it a priority to celebrate our friendship whilst working together. Had dinner together after work and continuing to do this as much as possible,
