Acts of Kindness

  1. I organised the gift basket on behalf of the dog park crew when 2 of our dog parents had their 1st human baby

  2. There was a trolley at the trolley bay full of rubbish as I was walking past with my dog. I emptied the rubbish into the nearby bin so the trolley collector wouldn’t have to

  3. I decluttered some old craft stuff and arranged to take it up to the local not for profit after school care place

  4. I was on my motor bike when a kite thread hanging from an electric pole got stuck in my bike’s handlebar. It was not noticeable from a distance. I parked my bike, disentangled the thread, rolled and hung it at a point where it did not obstruct the driveway. By doing so, I tried to avoid potential accident/ injuries to other bikers. Some kite threads have glass coating that could easily slit the skin.

  5. I was doing grocery-shopping at a local market. The vegetable vendor was seemingly busy with the trades. After I paid for my transaction, he mistakenly returned 5x of what he owed to me for the change (say, he had to return $10 as change, but he gave back a $50 note). I stood there for a moment, then humorously asked him to do the math. He realized and smiled back. I returned the extra money and asked him to be more vigilant with his trades.

  6. We sent some money to somebody we know in Bali to help him pay the school fees for his 2 children
