Shirley has been kindly baking morning tea for the team each weekend to bring in Monday for the first few days of the week. This boosts morale & is very generous of her to do so. Shirley Dyke is the team member kindly keeping us energised in the week

Every week after ballet, I wait behind for my teacher to lock up, then ensure her car is working, then wait while she locks up the gate. It is in a dodgy care and in the pitch black I don't want her alone each night after class.

I have answered the phone multiple times to a friend who is bipolar who constantly needs people to support her at the moment while she is in crisis. I have made the time for her and checked in with her daily if she hasn't already called.

Returning from lunch to the pharmacy, I noticed an elderly lady stopped at the top of the escalator. She had several bags and a walking stick. I approached her and asked if she would like some assistance, which she gratefully accepted. She held my hand as I helped her step onto the escalator and continued to hold my hand all the way down. She thanked me for taking the time to assist her, and that she was very thankful, sharing that she had been very worried about falling.

An elderly lady in the supermarket was having trouble finding something, so I went out of my way to help her and ran back 6 isles to get the product for her. She was very thankful. She stayed at my trolley talking to my little girl and making her laugh while I was gone
