Kath Koschel

CEO, FOUNDER, MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER & AUTHOR

Kath Koschel has faced almost unimaginable hurdles. In her mid-twenties, she broke her back and was told she may never walk again. Shortly afterwards, she lost her beloved partner to suicide. Then, just as she was piecing her life back together, she was hit by a drunk driver while cycling and forced to relearn to walk a second time.

In the midst of these harrowing experiences, she believes she experienced two things in large amounts: adversity and kindness. After re learning to walk for the second time in her life, this realisation kickstarted a 2-month journey around Australia which relied solely on the kindness of strangers. No cash, credit card food or water – and no help from family or friends!

From this journey came the Kindness Factory – a Not for Profit now based across 3 countries which has seen millions of acts of kindness logged. Under Kath’s leadership, the Kindness Factory has worked with Kaplan to develop the Kindness Curriculum, which is embedded in thousands of schools teaching children the power of kindness.

An internationally sought after motivational speaker and author of Kindness, Kath has worked with some of the biggest and most well known companies and brands in the world to help them achieve perspective, resilience, good culture and of course, kindness.
